Mountains and Canyons and Lakes OH MY!

I am checking in from my Alberta Adventure and have a little teaser of our jaunt to Lake Louise! This post is to fulfill my obligation to share an @Actifit adventure whenever I go over 10k steps. This one is pretty epic.

Picking this picture from the stack, this post is also doing double duty as a spoiler as well. Think 6 km of woods hiking through a canyon searching for waterfalls. This is where we hammered out 6k of our steps and the rest were great as well.

When I get back, there will be a little wild life…

Perhaps some badlands…

…and a whole lot of mountains.

Maybe a little bit of beer too.

          Awesome. Great to see you posting your Actifit steps here on Blurt too. That’s a beauty hike. We took a boat out on Lake Louise a few years ago. I wanted to go swimming …. But the water was too cold.

          Current water temperature in Lake Louise

          Water temperature in Lake Louise today is 17°C. Based on our historical data over a period of ten years, the warmest water in this day in Lake Louise was, like today, 17°C, and the coldest was recorded in 2021 at 15°C. Water temperature in Lake Louise is expected to drop to 9°C in the next 10 days. August average water temperature in Lake Louise is 14.8°C, the minimum temperature is 9°C, and the maximum is 19°C.
          Throughout the year, the water temperature in Lake Louise does not rise above 20°C and therefore is not suitable for comfortable swimming. But on some days of July, the water temperature warms up to 20°C and above. The average water temperature in Lake Louise in winter reaches 2.9°C, in spring 4°C, in summer the average temperature rises to 13.4°C, and in autumn it is 6.1°C.
