It was my day off and I didn't plan on going anywhere. My rest day is my laundry day and my bonding day with my kids.
It was almost a no-phone day for me and was walking around the house to get things done. My daughters went to the church with my mother and my son stayed with me after his father left for a basketball game on the neighboring barangay
I could have come with him but I was thinking about the kid's class the next day and prepared things for them.
At night, when we were about to go to bed, my husband called, he was hurrying home and asked me to prepare medicine for his mum because she was sick.
When we areived, she said she would not drink any medicine and mentioned an herb that helps her heal and so even it was already late, i and my son, along with my husband's niece went to the road yo look for mani mani plant.
I was losing hope since my father in law was spraying the grass to die, I prayed and God gave us the plant.
She soon put it on her painful chest and was relieved soon after.
