Growing food can't always be the easiest thing in the world, because you have to look out for the acidity of the soil, the caterpillars, where the fruit/vegetable is native to, etc. I don't really know much about growing broccoli or eggplant, I mostly grow fruit, so I guess you'll live and learn with this one. :)
