Yesterday I cleaned up our garage. When I did that I realized that one tire of my wife's bicycle was broken. So I bought new tires and tubes for both wheels and fixed that after lunch. Since I was already in the garage I also repaired my trekking bike. I bought it 11 or 12 years ago but never enjoyed riding it. After something went broke 8 or 9 years ago I stopped riding it. Last year I started repairing it but I didn't finish it. So I did the last parts of the repairing yesterday. Afterwards I took it for a ride alongside the Danube river. With this trekking bike I was about 10% faster than I would have been with my Mountain bike, but it was also 90% less fun. But I think I will keep it. Maybe I like it when I am older, in 50 years or so.
