I'm taking a break from the Renaissance Fair this weekend to attend MegaCon. This always involves a rather large amount of steps. Nearly 12000 on Friday without specifically trying to get any. It's about a 20 minute walk from the hotel (which is attached via a skywalk)to get to the entrance. The convention center itself is massive and if you cover the whole vendor hall that's a huge bunch of steps. On top of that, the panels are all outside the vendor hall area so if you like to attend those that's even more walking back and forth. Needless to say, I should probably exceed my 10,000 step goal for the four days of the convention
