Hello everyone π,
Happy Thursday π and a very warm welcome to my report π. We are definitely inching closer to the weekendπ€ͺ . As always thank you for being here and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been including some of the trending stories. You know how we do it, let's go π¨.
So I had a rather short fast paced morning session consisting of a few rounds of brisk walking π£ around the neighborhood π². The cool morning breeze π was fantastic π―.
Then I was back indoors for some resting, a little bit of daily chores and catching up with the news. The next chance of walking came in the afternoon out to the city centre for some errands , nice sunny day as I made my way. As always I squeezed in the afternoon nap and woke up some time early evening. After some news and you tube, it was time for the slow paced sunset walk. I had a nice walk then was back indoors still watching news and some you tube. So now let's quickly take a look at a summary of what was trending.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept goingπΉ, the Kenyan president has left the country to attend the Cop28 climate conference in Dubai, UAE. So 400 private jets have been flown to Dubai. Owners of these jets will be threatening and coercing us to ride bikes, eat insects, eat fake eggs and fake meatsπ‘. They urge us to avoid cows because their farts destroy the climateπΏClimate change activists are scammersπΉ.
Globally, Gaza still trending as the seventh exchange of captives and prisoners took place.
Hamas released ten Israeli captives while Israel freed 30 Palestinian prisoners. Meanwhile, intense diplomatic efforts are underway as mediators push to extend the Gaza ceasefire.
Also trending, US secretary of state Anthony Blinken has visited Israel for the fourth time since the war began on October 7. He had talks with PM Netanyahu then went to Ramallah for talks with Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas.
Across the pond in the US. Former national security advisor, Henry Kissinger has died aged 100. Definitely a really long life but the amount of blood on his hands is outstandingπ; given the many tweets that have been doing the rounds on X. From Chile to Argentina, Palestine to Syria, Iraq to Vietnam, Laos to Cambodia; this guy did the most but was never charged with war crimesπ‘. Let God judge himπ―.
So that was Thursday and I wanna thank you for reading this far π. I truly appreciate your continued support π and love π. Sending back that love π and lots of blessings πΌπ to everyone.
Check me out yet again tomorrow on an amazing high five Friday π. Until then keep stepping and enjoying yourselves to the max π―. So that's it, stay safe, take care and adios πππ Hakuna Matata π.
