Hello everyone 👋,

Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Its yet another 24 hours to be grateful for. As the day draws to a close am raring to go with my stepping activities and also share what's trending in the media streets. Thank you for reading and let's dive in 💨.
I kicked off the day with a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 morning as I made my way. A short walk that I enjoyed and then I was back indoors thirty minutes later. I then rested for a while, caught up with emails, watched the news and then the usual chores around the house.
My next stepping came later in the afternoon going to the city centre for some errands. Still a beautiful sunny day as I made my way. It was nap time when I got back indoors, I woke up some time early evening and got on with the cooking, watching a little bit of news and youtube .Next came the evening or sunset walk, it looked like it would rain but it didn't and I made it back home safe and sound. Now let's quickly look at what has been trending in the news today.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, all eyes still on Gaza as the captive exchange continued. Today twelve Israeli captives set to be released by Hamas in exchange for Palestinians from an Israeli prison.
Meanwhile, the ceasefire is coming to an end.
The best part is that there's no bombing and aid is flowing into Gaza. People still on tenterhooks as they don't know what happens after the ongoing exchange of captives.
However, diplomatic talks are taking place in Doha Qatar. The CIA chief and head of Mossad are in attendance as they try to extend the ceasefire in Gaza. Lets hope the war won't resume💯.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces have raided Jenin refugee camp in the occupied west bank🙀. Israeli military said it killed a senior Islamic jihad commander and arrested 17 others during the operation. There are reports of two teenage boys shot and killed😭.
Across the pond in the US, officials say they foiled an alleged plot to assassinate an American citizen in New York who advocated for a Sikh separatist state🙀. US federal prosecutors charge 52 year old indian man for alleged involvement in murder-for-hire conspiracy.
Finally, soccer ⚽ superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is facing a class action lawsuit in the US over his promotion of Binance, the largest crypto currency exchange in the world. The plaintiffs claim his endorsement led them to make loss making investments. They are seeking damages of a sum exceeding $1 billion🙀. Apparently NFT's were issued whose price later depreciated drastically😿. Let's wait and see how that goes.
