So as always my day began with a little bit of stretching then a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. That fresh morning breeze🍃 was so wonderful. Then I was back indoors where I rested then got on with the little daily chores around the house. In between I caught up with the latest news and watched some crypto and youtube. My next walking came later in the afternoon getting some errands done at the city centre. Then I was back indoors for the usual nap. I woke up feeling refreshed some time early evening. watched the news then it was time for the sunset walk. As always slow paced around the neighbourhood and park. So that was the stepping and now let's quickly look at what trended in the media.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹. Otherwise a nice sunny 🌞 day.
BTC pumped today, now at 47k, we are headed to 50k🎊🎉
On the continent Senegal trending as police engaged protesters in running battles dispersing them with teargas🙀. This after the president indefinitely cancelled elections that were to be held this month😿.
Globally another horrendous day in Gaza as 107 Palestinians are killed in the past 24 hours😿; pushing the overall death toll to 27,947 dead since October 7😭.
In one incident, Israeli snipers killed 21 civilians outside Gaza's besieged Nasser hospital🙀.
Israeli PM, Benjamin Netanyahu has asked military to submit plan on how to attack the city of Rafa. Rafa is the only existing place of refuge for Palestinians holding over 1.4 million displaced civilians.
A massive operation is required to evacuate civilians out before fighting can happen. Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas has warned of Israel's plan to drive Palestinians out of Gaza🙀.
Lebanon trending as Hezbollah fired rockets into Israel, most of which were intercepted by iron dome, likewise Israel fired into southern Lebanon.
Elsewhere, no clear winner is emerging in the concluded Pakistan election. Imran Khan's backed independents lead vote count. Former PM, Nawaz Sharif is seeking to form a coalition.
Across the pond, Chile trending as they bade farewell to former president, Pinera in a state funeral😭. 74 year old died in a helicopter crash last week.

Jair Bolsonaro has had his passport seized by authorities as coup investigation continues. Just like Trump he didn't want to accept election defeat. His supporters also carried out a Washington like insurrection🙀. Let's see how that goes.
Finally, its carnival fever in Rio De Janeiro as over 230,000 worldwide tourists set to attend this year's carnival. Brazil expected to earn over $1.8 billion from the event. However, there's a warning for people to take precaution against dengue fever that is spreading in that region.
