Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊.I've had just another ordinary day stepping it out and as bedtime beckons, it's time to quickly take a look at how my day has been plus some of the trending stories I came across. As always thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So I kicked off the day with some brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighbourhood 🌲. A cloudy day but with some beautiful morning breeze 🍃. Then I was back indoors for some resting, a little bit of daily chores and catching up with the news. The next chance of walking came in the afternoon out to the city centre for some errands. As always I squeezed in the afternoon nap and woke up some time early evening. After some news and you tube, it was time for the slow paced sunset walk. I had a nice walk then was back indoors still watching news, reading a few stuff before bedtime. So now let's quickly take a look at a summary of what was trending.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, a rather quiet day though.
Globally, the turmoil in Gaza kept going. Isreali military shot at people waiting for aid relief🙀. A drone attack on Nasser hospital killed civilians😭.
Also trending, a Hezbollah commander was killed in an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh🙀. Israel accuse him of firing rockets into north Israel.
Not far off, UK and US have hit targets in Yemen. This to counter and prevent houthi attacks on commercial shipping vessels.
Pakistan trending, as voting ended and votes counting underway. The election was marred with violence and mobile/internet blackout in some areas🙀.
Across the pond in the US, the supreme court is hears Trump case. A Colorado court had disqualified him from the primaries. Let's wait and see how that goes.
In Europe, Ukraine trending as president Zelensky dismissed a popular army chief and named a new one😹.
Finally in crazy weather, snow and icy weather is making travel difficult for millions of Chinese nationals traveling to be with their family for the new year 🙀. It's the year of the dragon. Iceland trending as the active volcano🌋 erupted for a third time since December spewing hot lava.
