Hello Everyone,
Happy Tuesdayπ and a very warm welcome to my world π. It's been another wonderful and active day stepping it out. As always thank you for being here and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been including some of the trending stories. Here we go again π¨.
So just like yesterday, I started the day with a few rounds of brisk walking π£ around the neighborhood π². A nice session and then I was back indoors for some resting and the usual house chores.
Later in the afternoon I stopped by the mall for a couple of errands before heading back home.
I later had my usual nap and then woke up to some cooking and news. Next it was time for the sunset walk, that went well and I made it back home safe and sound. To finish off let's quickly look at the trending stories of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans πΉ kept going, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, another devastating day in Gaza. Isreali airstrikes in Rafa and Khan Younis have killed 103 Palestinians in the past 24 hoursπΏ.
The total death toll is now 29,195π.
Meanwhile, the WFP says it has suspended aid deliveries to northern Gaza due to security reasons. There's deterioration of civil order and it's not safe to keep operating in that area.
Let's go to Europe, in London the Julian Assange extradition case was underway. He is wanted in the US for leaking sensitive govt files onto the internet a few years backπΉ.
Also trending, polish farmers have been protesting, they blocked Ukraine's border in protest against grain imports. They are angry at what they say is unfair competition from cheaper Ukraine importsπ.
Speaking of Ukraine, Russian drones damaged an industrial facility in Sumy and five deaths reportedπ. President Zelensky has said Ukraine urgently needs more army personnel and weaponry.
Speaking of Russia, Alexei Navalny's mother has asked Putin to release her son's body for proper respective burial. He was killed on Friday and upto today they don't want to release the bodyπ. Probably hiding evidence of foul play.
Across the pond, the US has vetoed the UN security council resolution calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire' in Gazaπ.
The US draft resolution for UNSC says invasion of Rafa would harm and displace civilians.
So that was Tuesday and I wanna thank you for reading this far π. I truly appreciate your continued support π and love π. Sending back that love π and lots of blessings πΌπ to everyone.
See you again tomorrow on an amazing hump day π. Until then keep stepping and enjoying yourselves to the max π―.That's about it for today, stay safe, take care and good bye πππ HAKUNA MATATA
