Hello everyone π»,
Happy hump day π and a very warm welcome to my report. We are bang in the middle of the week and already into September . I have had just another ordinary day and as the midnight hour beckons it's time to slow down and take a look at how the day went including the trending stories.
So sit tight and let's take it away π¨.
So today I had the chance of a morning walk and that happened just around the neighborhood.
A short walk as it was a little chilly and I began feeling a headache coming onπΏ.
So I was back indoors and after a warm cup of tea, I was okπΉ.
I did some house chores as the time went by.
Later in the day, the sun π was out and it was a lovely day. We went out by Borough market and also had a walk around London bridge.
We returned later on the afternoon and I hang around the house. Watched some news and checked out Twitter or is it XπΉ.
My last walk was the usual slow paced sunset π walk around the neighborhood just enjoying the cool breeze.
So that was my day, let's now look at some of the trending stories that caught my eye π.
Lets start in the middle east. Gaza trending as the blood bath continued π. Israeli airstrikes have killed 42 Palestinians across the strip this WednesdayπΏ.
Meanwhile the polio vaccination campaign still continued with targets being met and people brought out their children but fearful of the ongoing airstrikes.
Not far off, the Israeli military raids in the occupied west bank entered day 8, with 33 Palestinians already killedπΏ. Israel bulldozers dug up roads and paved areasπ.
Across the border in Israel, thousands of protesters gathered calling for an end to the war and secure release of captives held in Gaza.
PM Netanyahu insists that Israeli military must be in charge of the Philadelphi corridorπ. Control of that corridor is one of the sticking points to reaching or agreeing on a ceasefire with Hamas.
In the other war, a Russian attack on the western city of Lviv in Ukraine has killed seven people including three childrenπΏ.
President Zelensky is seeking permission from allies to let him use long range weapons to hit Russian military bases deep inside Russia if they don't stopπ.
In the UK, PM Keir Starmer has apologized to Grenfell tower fireπ₯victims. 72 people died after fire engulfed the tower in 2017.
Today a damning report said that tragedy was the result of a chain of failures by government's dishonest companies and a lack of strategy by the fire serviceπ.
Also trending, a 14 year old boy has been charged of murdering an 80 year old in a park in Leicesterπ. The innocent man was simply walking his dogπΏ.
Across the pond in the US, another 14 year old in custody after four people were killed in Georgia high school shootingπ.
These kids are getting dangerous, be on the lookout π―.
Anyways lets do this all over again tomorrow on an amazing throwback Thursday.
Do keep enjoying your week, good night and Cheerioβ€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π».
