Happy hump 🐪 day and a very warm welcome to my report. We are bang in the middle of the week as we head into September. Hope everyone is doing great.
As always thank you for stopping by and let's go ahead and look at how my day went including the stories that caught my eye 👀.Here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday, I had a short morning walk around the neighborhood ending up at the groceries. The sun 🌞 was out on yet another beautiful day.
Then I was back indoors handling the usual house chores.
Later in the day, I kept up with all the trending stories and watched some YouTube and checked twitter too.
This evening, was the opening ceremony for the Paralympics in Paris, France. More on that later.
So I did finish off my day with the slow paced sunset 🌄 walk around the neighborhood.
So now let's get into the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
Lets begin in the middle east. Gaza trending as the blood bath continued with the killing of 51 Palestinians in Israeli airstrikes😿.
Not far off, Israel launched it's largest military operation in the occupied west bank in more than two decades🙀.
Drones, fighter jets and a large contingent of soldiers descended on the region leaving ten people killed😿.
Meanwhile, an Israeli delegation is headed is expected in Doha Qatar for further talks on a ceasefire in Gaza and release of Israeli hostages.
Lets hope there's light at the end of the tunnel💯.
In Europe, France trending as the Paralympics opened tonight with a lavish ceremony. Disabled athletes will be competing in the coming days. All the best to all contestants💯❤️.
Still in France, the telegram CEO Pavel Durov was released on a €5 million bail. He cannot leave France and must report to authorities twice a week🙀.
I don't know who told him to get a French passport😿. The charges are crazy including allowing child porn, drugs and criminal activity on telegram🙀.
He also repeatedly refused to cooperate with French authorities😹. In this day and age we definitely decentralized platforms with no CEO or single point of control💯. You definitely know what I mean😹.
Across the pond in the US, the FBI has revealed that the gun man that shot at Trump had spent months online studying locations of Trump and Biden rallies🙀.
Also trending, the US has issued more sanctions on Israeli settlers and an NGO involved in attacking Palestinians.
Finally, a sort of crazy event, over 22,000 people participated in the La Tomatina event near Valencia in Spain. They bathed in tomatoes and threw them at each other😹. It's been happening since the 1940s and seems like lots of fun.
