Hello everyone π»,
Happy fiery π₯ Tuesday and a very warm welcome to my world of trees π²π³πΉ. As always thank you so much for stopping by yet again. I can't believe it's already 10 December, happy holidays. Anyway it's been another ordinary day stepping it out and as it comes to an end am raring to go with my stepping and the trending stories of the day.
Let's get into all that and more, here we go again, come on π¨.
So I kicked off the day with a little bit of stretching then I didn't go out for the morning walk, it was so cold and drizzly
Next I got on with the chores then watched some YouTube and kept up with the trending stories.
Its been a cloudy day and that extended until this evening when I took my first and final walk. As usual slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze π. Well dressed and shielded from the chilly weather tooπΉ.
So now let's get into the trending news of the day.
Starting off in Gaza, the blood bath continued with 35 Palestinians killed across the stripπΏ. The northern area remains besieged cut off from food, supplies and medicineπ.
Meanwhile, some 250 Israeli airstrikes have hit Syria in 48 hoursπ. Isreal has been hitting weapons depots it says belong to Iran. Israel is looking to establish a sterile defence zone in southern Syria after the fall of Assad regime.
Speaking of Syria, the new PM has met with members of former govt to facilitate a transition after the ouster of Bashir Al Assad.
The wild celebrating continued in Latakia, the home town of Al Assad. People were really fed up of the dictatorial regime.
Back to Israel, Netanyahu has appeared in court to face corruption cases against him. Up to three cases have been brought against himπ. Of course he has denied it allπΉ.
Speaking of courts, across the pond in the US, the shooter of united healthcare CEO, Luigi Mangione, is fighting extradition to New York. He has rightfully been denied bail and will appear in court to face charges of murder.
In Europe, Oslo trending as Nobel laureates, Nihon Hidankyo were honoured for their work against nuclear weapons.
That bomb in Hiroshima killed at least 210,000 people and its effects are still being felt to this dayπ.
Definitely no more nuclear bombs in any wars everπ―.
Nairobi trending as police fired teargas at peaceful demonstrators protesting the high rate of femicide in the countryπ. The current regime in Kenya has no respect for human rights whatsoever.
This on the international day of human rightsπΉ.
Finally in crazy weather, wild fires have been reported in California forcing the evacuation of close to six thousand peopleπ―.
Let's hope the fires can be kept in check ASAP. All's well that ends well π―.
So that's about it from me, see you again tomorrow on an amazing hump πͺ day. Until then stay safe, take care and adios β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π―π».

Is that your Christmas tree, bro?! I like the classy decorations.
Have a wonderful day bang in the middle of the week tomorrow LOL
Oh yes, we are bang in the middle of the week yet againπΉ. That tree was a gift from my neighbours and it's real not plastic. I wanna get a good set of lights to crown it . What am worried about is the central heating in the house, I have it on high and I don't know if it will dry out my tree before 25thπΉ.
Likewise wishing you a wonderful day/night ahead :}
Do what you can to keep the cut part of the trunk damp, or even better, in a little cup of water! Especially in the first days after being chopped down. Yes, too much heat will accelerate the drying/dying process, but you can't exactly freeze yourself to save the tree! Do what you can and hopefully it will still be beautiful in a couple weeks : )
That's a brilliant idea, I have actually added some water in the base container. Am sure it will definitely help keep it green for few more weeks until around January 6 or 7th. Thank you for the advice and wishing you an amazing Friday and weekend ahead :}
