Happy Thursday🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. As always thank you so much for checking out my post. It's been just another ordinary day stepping it out and getting on with life.
Let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also break down some of the global trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
Here we go again 💨.
So I didn't get my morning walk yet again😹. Just like yesterday, I woke up to a lot of drizzling 🌧️ and so I just kept indoors checking out YouTube and Twitter.
I did a little bit of house chores and cooking as the day went on.
I had wanted an afternoon walk but the rain kept coming🙀.
Eventually I had the chance to go out just after 6pm. I checked out the road parallel to where am staying, I hadn't been around that road yet.
I think it's still part of south London, I forget the street name 😹.
So that was the walking and now let's check out what was trending around the world.
More devastation in Rafa, as Israel defence minister Yoav Gallant, says additional ground forces are to be sent to Rafa.
Over 600,000 Palestinians have so far been displaced from Rafa. Deaths and injuries reported as Israel continued it's invasion😿.
Meanwhile, South Africa has urged the ICJ to order Israel to halt the Rafa invasion.
Arguing that Israel was violating the genocide convention, adding that the attack on Rafa was a tactic to continue annihilation of the Palestinian people😿.
Still in Netherlands, dutch nationalist Geert Wilders has announced a right wing coalition, this after 6 months of negotiations.
Though he will not be PM , expect radical new plans with stringent immigration policies😹
In the other war, president Zelensky has visited the area of Kharkiv where Russia has concentrated it's attacks. Visiting soldiers and encouraging them.
In the UK, Oxford university trending as pro Palestinian protesting students gathered to demand for a ceasefire in Gaza and also ask their university to divest from Israel companies.
Across the pond in the US, university of California, Irvine trending as police demolished a pro Palestinian encampment and arrested several students🙀.
On the east coast, the Trump hush money trial continued with former lawyer Michael Cohen being cross examined.
Finally, Russian president Vladimir Putin is on a state visit to China. Had talks with his counterpart president Xi Jinping.
Definitely looking for more weapons for the war he created in Ukraine 🙀.
