Hello everyone 😻,
TGIF 🎊🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report. I trust your day is going well 💯, mine has been awesome and it's now that time of day to slow down and fill you in on how it went including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
Without much further ado let's glide in 💨.
So I began my day with a quick walk around the neighborhood. Another cloudy chilly morning but I was dressed appropriately.
Then I was back indoors after about 20 minutes of walking ending up at the grocery.
I set out to do some house chores before settling down to some you tube videos and checking on trending stories on x.
There was some lovely sunshine 🌞 during the day for a while.
The evening saw me out for my final walk around the park before heading back indoors
So now let's quickly take a look at what has been trending.
Starting off in Gaza, another horrendous bloody day unfolded with 37 Palestinians killed across the strip today😿.
OCHA says Israel has blocked six attempts to deliver aid to desperate Palestinians🙀. People in the north are facing a catastrophic situation.
Not far off, Israel has continued to bombard different areas in Lebanon.
This as Ali Larijani, a senior adviser to Iran's supreme leader was visiting Beirut where he met with Lebanese prime minister.
Trending in Europe, German chancellor Olaf Sholz, has made the first contact with Russian president Putin in two years🙀. Scholz spoke to Putin for one hour and demanded the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine.
Ukraine's Zelensky has said such conversations opens a Pandora's box.
Meanwhile, in Amsterdam clashes of recent days have triggered a divisive blame game as old wounds reopen🙀.
Across the pond, the APEC summit kicked off in Lima Peru. President Biden held trilateral talks with leaders of Japan and south Korea.
Japan, south Korea and US say North Korea and Russia are dangerously expanding the Ukraine war🙀.
In Africa, south Africa trending as police looking to arrest illegal gold miners have cordoned off the entrance to the mines🙀. There are around 300 to 400 miners underground, their families not allowed to give them food/water until they come out😿. Let's see how long the standoff will last.
Finally, tonight is the night when 58 year old, Mike Tyson goes one on one with 27 year old Jake Paul. $40 million dollars up for grabs😹.
