Hello everyone π»,
Happy Sunday π and a very warm welcome to my report. It's the last Sunday of November and as always a day of gratitude and appreciating all the good things in our lives π―.
For me it's been another ordinary day and it's now time to break down how my stepping went and also the trending stories that caught my eye π.
As always thank you for reading and let's dive in π¨.
I began my day with some stretching moves before heading out for a walk around the neighborhood and park. The sun π was making for a beautiful day though the breeze was quite chilly.
After about 20 minutes, I was back indoors ready to deal with the usual house chores including laundry and cooking.
The afternoon saw me indoors checking out some YouTube videos and also trending news from around the world.
There were also some interesting matches in the EPL.
My final walk was in the evening, dark and cloudy rainy sunset. I walked for a short while around the neighbourhood before the drizzling got stronger and I had to head back indoors.
With that out of the way, let's have a look at what was trending around the world.
In Gaza , another horrendous bloody day unfolded with 12 Palestinians killed around the stripπΏ. Of these 6 members of one family were killed in an airstrike in central Gazaπ.
Not far off in Lebanon, Israel kept the bombings going in southern Beirut. So far 3,600 killed and close to 1 million people displacedπΏ.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah responded by firing over 250 rockets π into Israel.
Some damage to buildings and cars reported in various areas as falling debris hit cars and damaged buildingsπ. Sirens rang out as people were advised to stay in safe rooms.
In the other war, Ukraine trending as sirens rang out because of an imminent Russian attackπ. Meanwhile Ukraine carried out an analysis on the remnants of a new type of missile Russia fired on Dnipro area.
In Tbilisi, protests continued over the controversial parliamentary elections ahead of swearing in tomorrowπ.
More protests in Serbia because of deaths caused by a roof collapse. Protesters demanding for accountability.
Across the pond, Uruguay trending as the runoff election is being held after the October election didn't yield a clear winner. Best of luck to the two candidatesπ―.
Let's get back to Asia. Political shenanigans πΉ as Pakistani capital, Islamabad is under lockdown with heavy security presence as supporters of former PM Imran Khan get ready for a march.
Some roads blocked and internet/mobile services restrictedπΉ.
Finally, in Singapore, the world chess championship had their opening ceremony ahead of tomorrow's first game.
18 year old Indian player goes one on one with 32 year old Chinese record holder. The Indian player is the youngest person to compete at that level.
Wishing both players the very best and may the best player win the matchπΉπ―.
I definitely wish everyone else all the best as a new week unfolds. See you again tomorrow on an awesome Monday.
Stay safe, good night π΄ and Good bye β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π».
