Hello everyone π»,
Happy Caturday π and a very warm welcome to my reportπΉ.As usual, the kitties are here to take over the blockchain but just for a while, why not let them have funπ». Anyways, I have had a great day and it's now that time of day to showcase what went on inclusive of the trending stories.
Thank you for reading and let's get this over with. Here we go again π¨.
So I began my day with the usual morning walk around the neighborhood.
No sun π whatsoever but a cloudy dull sky coupled with a chilly breeze.
After about 20 minutes I was back indoors handling the usual house chores here and there.
Later logged into YouTube and watched a couple of video including the trending stories.
There were also some interesting games in the EPL, Arsenal are on fireπ₯, they gave it to westham really goodπΉ.
My final walk was the slow paced sunset π walk around the neighborhood ending up at the park π². It was totally dark but we had a beautiful cool breeze π.
Now let's move on to what was trending around the world.
Starting off in Gaza where the blood bath continued with a total of 45 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikesπΏ.
Included in this was people queueing for food in Khan Younis and also three aid workers of the charity World Central kitchen, this isn't the first attack on this aid group, they have lost other workers before thisπ.
Not far off, Israeli attacks killed two, and wounded six in south Lebanon despite ceasefireπ.
In Syria things are heating up as opposition fighters or rebels have taken over the city of Aleppo pushing govt forces outπ.
As Russia supports the govt several Russian airstrikes hit Aleppo, there's currently a curfew in place but the rebel or opposition have taken over.
In the other war Ukrainian president Zelensky, has said the war would end if Ukraine joins NATO as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, a UN report says Ukrainian men face sexual torture in Russian detention centresπΏ. The stigma attached to it makes it difficult for victims to talk about it but some are now coming forward to talk about it.
Meanwhile, pro EU protesters have gathered outside parliament in Tbilisi, Georgia, this after govt suspended talks of joining the EU until 2028π
Georgia's president has said she is not stepping down until a proper election is carried out.
They had a parliamentary election that most people say was a total shamπΉ.
Speaking of elections, vote counting is underway in Ireland. The ruling centre right coalition is likely to get back into power and Sinn Fein to remain in opposition.
In Kosovo, police have arrested eight people over a canal explosion that has been blamed on Serbiaπ.
Finally in crazy weather, a strong cyclone has hit the bay of Bengal causing serious flooding across three countries, that is India, Sri Lanka and Thailandπ.
Thousands of people have had to be evacuated from the waterπΏ. Let's hope it subsides soon with minimal destruction.
All's well that ends wellπ―.
So that's about it, see you again tomorrow on a Sunday funday. Do keep enjoying the weekend though. Cheers and good byeβ€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π»π―
