Happy Sunday 😊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's a day of gratitude and I counted my blessings as I continue to take one day at a time💯. Hopefully your day has been great too.
Definitely thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my day went including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
Here we go again, come on 💨.
So I began my day with a walk around the neighborhood. A beautiful morning with some good sunshine 🌞 was what I encountered as I made my way.
Then I was back indoors handling the usual chores around the house including laundry.
Then I had the cooking going before settling down to some you tube videos and also watching the trending news.
The sunset 🌄 walk was around Chelsea stadium area at Stamford bridge. The season is yet to begin so there was pretty much no one there, just some few fans.
I finally made it back home calling it a day. So that was my day and now let's look at what has been happening around the world.
In Gaza, the horror scenes continued as Israeli airstrikes hit a UN run school in central Gaza😿. 17 Palestinians killed and several others injured. The injured were rushed to Al Aqsa hospital.
Across the pond in the US, the attempted assassination of Trump has been trending.
The shooter has been identified as 20 year old, Thomas Crooks, a registered republican🙀.
The shooter was also in one of Blackrock's ad.
The problem of guns in the US rears its ugly head. The shooter used an assault rifle that can only be purchased by persons above 21🙀.
Investigations are ongoing.
President Biden has condemned the attack and ordered a review of security measures.
Meanwhile, Trump will be flying to Milwaukee for the republican convention that starts on Monday. He is expected to be formally named as republican nominee to run for president.
Time will tell how that assassination attempt will affect the upcoming election.
Finally, Spain got the better of England and have won the Euros🎊. Congratulations 🎉 to team Spain. Well deserved as they haven't lost any game at this tournament.
Heartbreak for England as defeat extends 58 years of hurt😿. Sadly they have to wait.
Spain has another reason to celebrate as Spaniard, Carlos Alcatraz beat Novak Djokovic to retain Wimbledon title🎊. Congratulations🎉.
As if that's not enough, a Spaniard won some major golf ⛳ tournament too🎊. I guess it's celebration and jubilation all over Spain tonight😹.
