Hello everyone 😻,
Happy hump 🐪 day and a very warm welcome to my report. It's the tenth day of the month and the stepping continued unabated.
Today was totally different from yesterday weather-wise. No sign of rain ☔ instead I woke up to some beautiful sunshine 🌞.
So I made the most of it with an extended morning walk. Around the neighborhood ending up at the park 🌲 and then back indoors.
I then got on with the usual house chores before settling down to some youtube videos and following some of the trending stories on twitter.
My last walk came this evening. Still a beautiful sunrise 🌄 as I made my way around the neighborhood.
So that has been my day and it's now time to turn out attention to the day's trending news.
Let's start in the middle east as another day of Israeli bombing unfolded🙀. The Israeli military has ordered civilians to leave Gaza city as it struck a UNRWA building among other targets.
In the north of Gaza, there's huge destruction in the neighborhood of Shujayea, it remains a ghost town as people evacuated🙀.
Across the pond in the US, the NATO 75th anniversary celebrations continued in Washington hosted by president Biden.
NATO members have pledged $43 billion for Ukraine to help with its war against Russia.
NATO allies have began a transfer of F-16s to Ukraine mainly from Denmark and the Netherlands. Ukraine has been put on an irreversible path to NATO membership.
I don't know what Russia/Putin thinks about that😹. What happens if Trump wins the presidency😹, he has not been a fan of NATO and loves Putin🙀.
Politics aside, let's finish on a light sporty note.
Cheers and jubilation tonight as England beat the Netherlands to reach the final of the Euro 2024. On Sunday we look forward to a thrilling final match between England and Spain, set a date😹.
In Copa America, Argentina beat Canada to reach the finals. They now wait to see who will win in the match between Colombia and Uruguay.
May the best teams win 💯.
