Hello everyone π»,
Happy Thursday π and a very warm welcome to my report. As always thank you for stopping by, am just about to break down my stepping of the day and also share some of the trending stories.
Let's get into it π¨.
So today, there was no rain and i made the most of it with a quick short morning walk around the neighborhood.
At first it was a fully cloudy morning but in 15 to 20 minutes, the sun π shone through. I headed back indoors for the usual house chores here n there.
My Γ±ext stepping came at around noon, going out for groceries to get the lunch going. Still a pleasant sunny day though the cool breeze was still around.
I did finish off the day, with a quick walk around the park this evening. A little bit chilly outside but I was dressed warmly.
So that was the stepping and now let's get into the global trending stories.
Israel continued with it's airstrikes in Gaza's south, central and north areasπ. In the north, the Israeli military has laid siege on Al Awda hospital in Jabaliya refugee camp.
Other hospitals in central Gaza are at the brink of closure as fuel run out.
Aid including fuel has been blocked from entering GazaπΏ.
After yesterday's recognition of Palestinian statehood. Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez has said "the peace we want for Ukraine is the peace we want for Palestine".
Also trending, the UN has approved a resolution to commemorate 1995 Srebrenica genocide.
Across the pond in the US, president Biden has pledged to designate Kenya as non-NATO ally during a white house visit by Kenyan president.
Both leaders vowed to bring stability to Haiti and break the stronghold of gangs. Kenya will be sending up to 1,000 policemen.
During the presser, Biden avoided the question on Israel using starvation as a war toolπ.
Trending in the UK, PM Rishi Sunak says no to Rwanda deportation before the 4th July elections.
In Germany, the AFD was expelled from far right EU parliament group.
In France, president Macron has delayed New Caledonia voting reform after protestsπ.
Finally, in crazy weather. Experts say climate change is expected to make incidents of turbulence worse for air travellersπ.
A few days ago, severe turbulence on board Singapore airlines caused the death of one person and serious injuries to several passengers who did not have their seatbelts fastened πΏ.
If you are flying please keep your seatbelt fastened when that light comes on. Many people take it for granted but seeing the injuries turbulence can cause should make you think twiceπ―.
Let's pause there for today and look forward to an amazing high five Friday ahead.
See you then and hopefully u keep stepping πΉ. Adios... Hakuna Matata π».
