Happy Thursday π and a very warm welcome to my report. Thank u so much for taking the time to stop by. Its been a great day and as always am here to break it down including the trending stories that caught my eye π.
Lets get rolling π¨.
So I began my day with a quick fifteen minutes walk around the neighborhood. It was quite cloudy βοΈ and chilly as I made my way.
Next I was back indoors handling the usual chores. Later on logging into the trending stories of the day.
In the afternoon, I stopped by the city center for a couple of errands. Still a cloudy βοΈ dayπΉ.
I finished off with a short sunset π walk around the neighborhood this evening.
So now lets look at what has been trending around the world.
Starting off in Gaza, the blood bath continued with 47 Palestinians killed in different Israeli airstrikesπΏ.
The total death toll now at 43,391 and expected to keep growingπ.
Also trending, Israeli forces have laid siege to the northern part of Gaza strip for 34 days, blocking entry of food, medicine and other essentialsπΏ.
In Lebanon, 3 killed in an Israeli drone attack in the town of Sidon. 7 UN peacekeepers also injured in that attackπΏ.
Over in Europe, EU leaders are meeting in Budapest Hungary for the European political community summit.
In Germany, pressure is mounting on chancellor, Olaf Sholz after governing coalition collapsedπ. Political shenanigansπΉ.
In Russia, president Putin has congratulated US president elect, Trump for his victory. Adding that he was impressed by how Trump reacted to the assassination attemptπΉ.
Announcing that Russia was ready to restore relations with the US, the bromance has beganπΉ.
Is this a sign that the Ukraine war will be over soon, fingers crossedπ€.
Speaking of Trump, in a tv interview with NBC, said he will have no choice over mass deportation planπ. Families will definitely be separated in the coming yearsπΏ.
Meanwhile, president Biden spoke assuring of peaceful transfer of power on 20 January next year. Adding that democrats should never give up even in face of defeat.
Also trending, the federal reserve has cut interest rates by quarter percent. From 4β’75% to 4β’5%.
In the UK, bank of England cut from 5% to 4β’75%. Borrowing is now cheaper, take advantage borrow and buy BTC to hodlπΉ.
Finally,let's end with some crazy weather from all over.
In Japan, snow has finally formed atop mount Fuji after a month long delay.
In Indonesia, a volcanoπon the remote Flores island has erupted for a second time spewing a massive column of ash high in the skyπ.
In Cuba, hurricane Rafael has made landfall with damage and knocked out powerπ.
