Hello everyone ๐ป,
TGIF ๐ and a very warm welcome to my report. The weekend has definitely arrived and I have been feeling upbeat the entire day ๐ฏ.
Lets proceed to look at how my day went including some of the trending stories that caught my eye ๐. You know how we do it, come on ๐จ.
So this morning, I didn't have my morning walk choosing to instead do some indoor stretching and then continued with some household chores.
I later settled down to some you tube and Twitter to follow up on some of the trending stories.
This evening, I had a bit of walking around the city centre, then the park ๐ฒ before heading back home and calling it a day.
To finish off, let's quickly delve into the trending stories.
Starting off in Lebanon, where Israel has carried out back to back airstrikes in Beirut, southern neighborhood๐.
People had been warned to evacuate as mostly residential buildings/flats were hit.
As the war continues, over 430,000 people have crossed into Syria to escape the war๐.
Not far off in Gaza, the blood bath continued especially in Northern Gaza where the Israeli siege has entered day 21. A real hell on earth as bodies strewn in the streets, people fear being hit by snippers if they try picking up the bodies.
The UN calls it Gaza's war darkest moment, people are trapped with no food, medicine or supplies allowed in๐.
In the south in Khan Younis, 38 killed today as Israeli airstrikes kept going๐ฟ.
Meanwhile, US secretary of state has met Jordanian foreign minister in London. This as he concluded his Middle East visit and is headed back to US.
Jordanian foreign minister, said Israel must stop ethnic cleansing in Gaza, adding that the war in the middle east is getting worse as Israel is not listening to anybody๐.
Still in London, an abuser in UK's largest catfishing case has been jailed for life๐ฏ.
A 12 year old girl in the US took her own life as she was being abused by the man from northern Ireland๐ฟ.
Across the pond in the US, campaigning still in high gear. Time will tell who wins๐น.
Meanwhile, president Biden has apologized indeginous native Americans for the hostile treatment they endured in boarding schools for almost 150 years๐ฟ.
There was lots of emotional and physical abuse as they tried to erase their culture. They were punished for speaking their language among other unfortunate things๐ฟ.
Finally,in crazy weather, rare heavy rainfall has caused unexpected flooding in parts of Sahara desert in Morocco. Imagine high levels of water on the sand dunes and palm trees nearly submerged๐น.This changing weather patterns are something else๐น.
Anyways, that's it from me today, see you again tomorrow on an amazing Caturday ๐ ๐น.
Until then it's good night ๐ด and Good bye โค๏ธ. Hakuna Matata ๐ป ๐ฏ
