Hello everyone π»,
Happy fiery π₯ Tuesday and a very warm welcome to my world of trees π²π³πΉ. As always thank you so much for stopping by yet again. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and as it comes to an end am raring to go with my stepping and the trending stories of the day.
Let's get into all that and more, here we go again π¨.
So I kicked off the day with a little bit of stretching then a short walk around the neighborhood. Went to the grocery then headed back indoors.
Next I got on with the chores then watched some YouTube and kept up with the trending stories.
Its been quite a cloudy day and that extended until this evening when I took the final walk. As usual slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze π. Good thing it didn't rain , I hate being caught up in rain, having to runπΉ.
So now let's get into the trending news of the day.
The war between Israel and Hezbollah is heating upπ. Up to 569 including 50 children have been killed in the past two daysπΏ.
A big exodus happening as people flee the southern towns headed towards Beirut. Highways full of cars with people scared for their lives seeking safety.
Israel has said it will not relent and will keep hitting Hezbollah. Meanwhile Hezbollah continued sending rockets π into northern Israelπ.
Another Hezbollah commander was targeted in Beirut, six people were killed in that attack.
In the other war, Russian rockets π have hit an apartment building in kharkiv, death and destruction reportedπΏ.
In the UK, PM Keir Starmer gave his first speech to the labour party conference in Liverpool. He said he would not offer easy answers or false hope but promised a Britain built to last.
Let's wait and see if he stabilizes the economy.
Across the pond, world leaders are addressing the 79th session of the UN general assembly.
President Joe Biden gave his final address as president.
The UN chief Antonio Guterez has warned Lebanon is on the brink of catastrophe, becoming another Gazaπ.
On Gaza he said nothing can justify the collective punishment of Palestinians.
Emir of Qatar said the international community is being humiliated by failing to intervene in Israel's war. He called for formation of the state of Palestine for peace to be guaranteed in the region.
Israeli PM Netanyahu, is on his way there, and will be speaking tomorrow. Let's wait to hear his side.
He has failed to rein in Hamas in close to a year, now he has started with Hezbollahπ.
Finally, in crazy weather, hurricane John has struck Mexico's southern pacific coast with fierce winds and heavy rainfall π§οΈ after strengthening from tropical storm to major hurricane in a matter of hoursπ.
Imagine winds of 190km/h or 120 mph. Good thing people evacuated, lives saved, material things can be replaced. All's well that ends well π―.
So that's about it from me, see you again tomorrow on an amazing hump πͺ day. Until then stay safe, take care and adios β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π―π».
