Happy fiery 🔥 Tuesday, Happy new year and a very warm welcome to my world of trees 🌲🌳😹. Poor trees looking sad without leaves as winter hits hard😿. Anyway as always thank you so much for stopping by yet again. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and as it comes to an end am raring to go with my stepping and the trending stories of the day.
Let's get into all that and more, here we go again 💨.
So I kicked off the day with a little bit of stretching then I was out for probably twenty or so minutes around the neighbourhood
Next I got on with the chores then watched some YouTube and kept up with the trending stories.
Its been a cloudy day and that extended until this evening when I took my first and final walk. As usual slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃. Well dressed and shielded from the chilly weather too😹.
So now let's get into the trending news of the day.
Over in Gaza, the mass murder continued with a 49 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes across the strip😿. Many others stuck under the rubble of blown up buildings, so that death toll is definitely higher.
The UN warns that aid effort in Gaza is at a breaking point as the ongoing airstrikes are preventing rescue and aid delivery. Food, medicines and other supplies highly required in most areas.
Meanwhile, president elect, Trump, has warned that all hell will break lose when he formally takes office, if Hamas doesn't immediately release Israeli hostages.
Not far off, a proud moment for Syria as international flights resumed to Damascus after the fall of Assad regime. Many of the Syrians who landed, had not been home in more than a decade, were happy to return and reunite with their families.
In Europe France trending as far right party leader Jean Marie Le pen died at the age of 96😿. His daughter Marine has already taken over as leader of that party a few years ago.
Speaking of the far right, Austria trending as the far right is poised to take power for the first time since world war 2🙀. The far right freedom party and the conservative party are to form a coalition.
Across the pond in the US, the world's biggest consumer electronics show kicked off in Las Vegas Nevada🎊. AI seems to be dominating the annual convention with most manufacturers incorporating some kind of AI in their gadgets 🤖 😹.
Then political shenanigans as Danish PM said Greenland was not for sale as Donald Trump Jr visited the island😹. His father says Greenland and Panama canal are both critical to US national security. Let's see how this will unfold as the year goes by.
In crazy weather, a state of emergency in Tibet after powerful 7.1 earthquake hit the country🙀.
The news is still coming in but they are talking of widespread destruction😿. 126 people reportedly killed and many injured. 70,000 people affected as more than 1,000 homes destroyed. Aftershocks and freezing winter weather is making the situation unbearable😿.
Let's keep them in our prayers, all's well that ends well 💯.
