Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world of trees🌳. You definitely know the drill on tree Tuesdays😹. I guess I don't need to remind us of the importance of trees🌲.
Anyways, I have had a great day, just ordinary but I got my walking done💯. I started off this morning around the neighborhood with a quick thirty minute walk.
Then I was back indoors handling the usual house chores.
Later in the day I followed up on the trending news from around the world. Learned a few things here and there on you tube😹.
My final walk was this evening, around the neighborhood ending up at the park🌳. The day has been a mixture of sunny 🌞 and cloudy ☁️.
But I made the best of it.
With that out of the way, let's now look at what trended.
In Kenya, police dispersed groups of anti govt protesters. They are demanding the resignation of the president🙀.
In the middle east, Gaza trending as Israeli forces have killed at least 89 Palestinians in one day😿. The bombings in Khan Younis have also left many bodies trapped under the rubble so that death may rise significantly🙀.
The total death toll is now at 39,090 killed since October 7 😭.
Across the pond in the US, Kamala Harris trending as she gave her first address campaigning in the swing state of Wisconsin.
She promised to build up the middle class if elected. She has 104 days to go before facing off with Trump in November😹.
Also trending, the head of secret service has resigned after taking full responsibility for the lapse in security that led to the attempted assassination of Trump😿.
Meanwhile, president Biden has returned to Washington to continue with presidential duties. One of them, meeting with Israeli PM Netanyahu who flew in.
Speaking of Netanyahu, Jewish peace groups in Washington held a sit in, in the capitol to demand for a ceasefire in Gaza.
They also demanding, US to stop sending arms to Israel. They are staging the sit in just before Netanyahu addresses congress tomorrow😹.
Finally, let's finish with some crazy weather. A landslide in Ethiopia has killed over 200 people in the south west😭.
Still in crazy weather, wildfires reported in Oregon in the US and some parts of Canada🙀.I am sure everything will be alright, all's well that ends well 💯.

Sad to hear about protests being shut down. Unless they are violent (and even sometimes when they are), protests should never be stopped. It is the right of free people to express their feelings and attempt to better their situation. Free countries should never use their people's resources to shut their people up.
Many are saying the death toll in Gaza is closer to 250 right now. What a nightmare. The survivors will never be normal again, even if things begin to stabilize immediately (which is very unlikely). Now Trump is having Netanyahoo over for dinner... sick.
The media here in Western Canada is going crazy about the wildfires. It's greatly overblown. Fear porn to stoke the climate change fires.

As always thank you for the wonderful comment @drutter. The world is like at a turning point this year. Protests in many countries, the war in Gaza and elections in the US. Lets hope next year we shall have some sort of peace and semblance coming up. Including super bull market.
I do hope the situation with the wild fires cools down, it has now became a norm every summer to have some sort of wildfires. Strategies should be put in place to minimize the dangers to human life and property as much as possible.
