Hello everyone π»,
Happy Thursday π and a very warm welcome to my report. Thursday is the sexy cousin of FridayπΉ, a laid back day for taking things as they come and moving on with life.
As always thank you for stopping by and do keep reading as I breakdown my stepping of the day and share some of today's trending stories.
Let's quickly slide in π¨.
So I started off at around 9am with a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood.
The sun π was out but the breeze was quite chilly and not very welcoming. I got back indoors and added a jumper and scarf to my attire to deal with itπΉ.
Later I was back indoors for a warm cup β before getting on with the usual chores around the house.
Then I followed up on the trending news and watched some YouTube videos too.
My last walk came around 7pm as I love to conclude the day with the slow paced evening walk. A wonderful walk and the sunset π was just beautiful.
Next let's look at what was trending around the globe.
More blood shed in Gaza as Israel intensified airstrikes in central regions π.
68 Palestinians killed in 24 hoursπΏ. 40 of them killed when bombs hit a UN run school housing over 6000 displaced people in Nusierat refugee camp.
So far the death toll is at 36,654π.
16 countries now fully support the ceasefire proposal outlined by president Biden. However, Netanyahu says he must finish off Hamasπ.
Over in Europe, Spain says it will join South Africa's case against Israel at the ICC. The ICC have already ruled against Israel asking them to stop bombing Gaza.
Ireland has already been enjoined in that case supporting south Africa in calling for an end to hostilities in Gaza and an independent Palestinian state.
Also trending, world π leaders and veterans gathered in Normandy to mark 80 years since allied forces liberated Europe from the nazi in 1944. King Charles and his son prince William in attendance.
Russia for obvious reasons was not invitedπΉ. Instead Ukrainian president Zelensky, was guest of honor.

Also trending the European Central Bank or ECB has announced a cut in main interest rate from an all time high of 4% in 2019 to 3.75%. Inflation has definitely eased, a good thing for EU economiesπ―. Extra cash will be on hand to buy BTC and cryptosπΉ.
Across the pond in the US, a former meta engineer has accused the company of firing him for trying to prevent suppression of pro Palestinian postsπ.

Throwing out ash and messing up kilometers of land π. Hopefully it cools off for people to head back home and continue with their lives. All shall be wellπ―.
So that's about it from me, let's hook up again tomorrow on an amazing high five Friday. Until then keep stepping and enjoying yourselves to the max π―. Toodles β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π»
