Hello everyone π»,
Happy Sunday π and a very warm welcome to my report. It's the beginning of June and am feeling blessed to be alive in this day and age π―.
As always glad that you stopped by as am about to let you in on how my day has been plus share some of the trending stories.
Here we go again π¨.
So just like yesterday, I began the day with a walk around the neighborhood. I woke up and I was glad that it wasn't drizzling.
So I had a walk to the grocery then extended down the street and onto the main road.
I was back indoors after about 30 minutes. Then I got on with the house chores and caught up with the trending stories from around the world.
It has been quite a sunny day π and even as I made my final walk this evening the sun was still out making for a beautiful sunset π.
The cool breeze was also quite enjoyable.
Looking forward to similar weather come tomorrow.
So that was the stepping now lets look at some of the trending stories
In Gaza, Israel has kept up its intensified airstrikes in the region.
Fifty bodies have been recovered from Jabaliya refugee camp in the northπΏ.
Deaths also reported in central Gaza and Rafa in the southπ.
Israeli PM, Netanyahu says that no permanent ceasefire will be reached until Hamas is totally destroyedπ.
The US president Biden had proposed a ceasefire deal but seems Israel will not be following that dealπΏ.
Meanwhile, families of captives held in Gaza were protesting outside the office of PM Netanyahu asking him to reach a deal with Hamas for safe release of their loved ones.
Not far off, former Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad has come out of the woodwork to declare that he be considered to run in the June electionsπ. This follows the death of president Raisi ina helicopter crash last month.
Across the pond in Mexico, voting is going on in presidential elections. Two female candidates are going one on one in a historic election that will see the first female president for mexico.
People braved the ongoing heatwave to cast their vote. 100 million registered voters will make their choice. Drug related violence, corruption and an inflow of would be American immigrants being the contentious issues.
Mexico is such a wild country, at least 30 political candidates have been killed during campaigning for these electionsπ.
Let's finish in Asia, where north Korea has been misbehaving sending gigantic balloons of garbage across the border into south KoreaπΉ.
Just normal household trash, I don't know why they can't deal with their trash.
Anyways, see you again tomorrow on an awesome Monday.
That's it for today, stay safe n good night π΄. Toodlesβ€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π».
