TGIF 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. The week has totally flown and the weekend is right here😹. Hopefully you have had or are having a great day💯.
Lets quickly take a look at mine including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. Here we go again, come on 💨.
So just like yesterday I began with the usual morning walk. A short walk as I had other indoor commitments planned.
Later when I got time, I followed up on the trending stories from around the world.
This evening, I had a chance to venture out for the sunset 🌄 walk. The weather has been fantastic throughout the entire day and the evening was great. I had a wonderful walk around the neighborhood ending up at the park 🌲.
So that was my day and now let's jump into the trending stories.
In the UK, the forecasters are saying today was the hottest day🙀. Temperatures peaked at 31.9C at St James' park in central London.
I really didn't feel it that much though😹.
Temps are expected to drop on Sunday.
Also trending, a software update caused chaos disrupting major airlines, banks, media networks and phone companies🙀.
Passengers across the world were affected as flights grounded😿.
That's the problem of most of us being on microsoft windows, this was definitely a wake up call😹.
Still in Europe, the ICJ has ruled that the 57 year Israeli occupation of Palestinian land breaches international law🙀.
The ICJ, said Israel must make reparations for damage caused by that occupation of Palestinian territory and continued expansion of settlements.
Speaking of Israel, a houthi drone has hit Tel Aviv close to us embassy 🙀. Something went wrong with the defense system and that drone was not intercepted.
The houthi spokesman was over the moon that this drone technology is undetectable🙀. Lets wait to see how many more drones of that nature they will fire in the coming days
Across the pond in the US, pressure is still mounting on Biden to drop out of the presidential election 🙀. A group calling itself 'pass the torch' have even started running ads asking Biden to step down😹.
Meanwhile, Trump gave his speech at the last day of RNC in Milwaukee.
Things are heating up, let's keep watching this space.
