Hello everyone π»,
Happy Caturday π and a very warm welcome to my report. As always every Saturday is dedicated to our furry friends around the globe; they take over the blockchain for a whileπΉ.
Anyways I have had another great day as the weekend unfolds.
Let's just dive in with the morning walk that was cut short by some annoying drizzling π§οΈπΏ. I managed to wait it out at the groceries before continuing for a whileπ».
Back indoors, I had some hot tea then got on with my day. As usual the daily chores and then a bit of YouTube and checked twitter too.
The evening walk saw the weather turn around into a sunny π sunset ππ.
Then something unexpected happened during my walk. A fox of all animals ran across my pathπΉ. I have been told that foxes roam these areas but it's not easy spotting one.
This one was wasn't scared, it just checked me up, then moved a few steps and looked me up and down againπ. I guess we were both surprisedπΉ, eventually it walked away calmly across the road and into one of the compounds.
I did make it home π‘ safe and sound calling it a day.
Animals are loving me, yesterday the neighbours' Kitty paused for a pic or twoπΉ. I don't know which house he comes from but I see him in the yard especially when the sun is out.
So now let's get into the day's trending stories.
In the UK, the new PM Keir Starmer, had a cabinet meeting with his new appointees. They definitely have a tough job ahead of themπΏ.
That plan to deport migrants back to Rwanda is dead and buried according to the new PMπΉ.
Also trending, large pro Palestinian protests were held in central London, thousands showed up to call for the new PM to stand up against Israel and an immediate ceasefire.
Speaking of Gaza, the horror continued as Israel airstrikes hit an UNRWA school in central Gaza Nusierat refugee camp. Lots of destruction that left 16 dead in the place lots of displaced Palestinians have been shelteringπΏ.
Still in that region, protesters marched in Tel Aviv to demand the return of hostages held in Gaza. Police used water canons to stop them from blocking a roadπ.
Close by, Iran trending as a new reformist president was announced following second round of elections. He promised changes and also try to negotiate with the west to loosen some of the sanctions that have weakened the Iranian economy.
Finally, let's get sporty as things are heating up in Germany at the Euro footballπΉ.
England are into the final 4 as they beat Switzerland on penalties. Bukayo Saka was the hero that saved the team. They will now face Netherlands on Wednesday.
Speaking of Netherlands, they managed to beat Turkey two one to set up the meeting with England.
Before that, we have a date on Tuesday, when Spain will be taking on Franceπ. This will be a good one.
So that's about it for today, see you tomorrow. If the weather permits I will be out exploringπΉ. Get back to see what I find.
Until then, it's good night π΄ and Good bye β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π»
Some pictures from around π and then the neighbours' Kitty πΉπ»π³πΏππ²
