Happy fiery 🔥 Tuesday and a very warm welcome to my world of trees 🌲🌳. Happy New Year to everyone even if we are only two weeks into it😹, 2025 will be amazing. As always thank you so much for stopping by yet again. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and as it comes to an end am raring to go with my stepping and the trending stories of the day.
Let's get into all that and more, here we go again 💨.
So I kicked off the day with a little bit of stretching then I was out for probably twenty or so minutes around the neighbourhood
Next I got on with the chores then watched some YouTube and kept up with the trending stories.
Its been a cloudy day and that extended until this evening when I took my first and final walk. As usual slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃. Well dressed and shielded from the chilly weather too😹.
So now let's get into the trending news of the day. Starting off in Gaza, another bloody day as 40 Palestinians were killed in various Israeli airstrikes😿.
Israel still hitting hard amid ceasefire talks in Gaza.
After 15 months of airstrikes, 46,645 Palestinian deaths, a ceasefire is finally on the horizon. Qatari officials are quite optimistic.
Across the border in Israel, protesters gathered in Tel Aviv in support of a ceasefire that would see them reunited with the captives held in Gaza.
However, far right Israeli ministers say they remain opposed to the ceasefire talks that are ongoing in doha, Qatar🙀.
Israeli media reports ceasefire deal would see 33 Gaza captives released in first phase of a three phase deal. Fingers crossed🤞, we will see how it unfold in the coming days.
In the other war, Ukrainian military says it launched its largest ever attack on Russia so far. Russia says it intercepted over 146 missiles, and has threatened retaliation🙀.
Trending in the UK, treasury minister has resigned after growing pressure over an anti corruption investigation in Bangladesh🙀. Her aunt is deposed PM sheikh Hasina.
Then, Kate princess of Wales has revealed she is in remission from cancer as she visited the hospital that gave her treatment and care. Then consoling other patients and wishing them well.
Across the pond in the US, Los Angeles trending as another new round of strong winds has prompted more evacuation orders 😿. This as fire fighters keep up with trying to control wild fires.
Finally, in crazy weather, Mozambique on high alert as a powerful cyclone with 180km/h winds is about to make landfall🙀.
Hopefully, all safety measures are being put in place to avoid deaths and minimise destruction.
Everything will be ok, all's well that ends well 💯.

Things are acerating into the new US administration, it seems. Clown world on steroids! I think the ceasefire is probably a political ploy, but hey, I'm ready for any stoppage of the genocide. I know the devastated prisoners of Gaza are more than ready. How shamefully they've been treated. This is a stain on many people for ever. I don't know how we're going to heal from this. Words don't even really cover it...
