Hello everyone ๐ป,
Happy hump ๐ช day and a very warm welcome to my report. We are bang in the middle of the week as we move deeper into December๐น.
I have had just another ordinary day and am about to share it including the trending stories that caught my eye ๐.
Definitely thank you for stopping by and let's get into it ๐จ.
So I started the day with the usual morning walk around the neighborhood. It was largely โ๏ธ cloudy and chilly. No signs of the sun๐whatsoever.
I didn't last long outside and after about 15 minutes, I was back indoors for the usual house chores including cooking.
Later, I settled down to some you tube, x and trending news from around the world.
My final walk was the sunset ๐ walk again around the neighbourhood. then finishing off with some grocery shopping.
So now let's look at what trended globally.
In Gaza, the mass murder kept going with 20 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on the "safe area" of Al Mawasi camp๐ฟ. Tents were on fire leaving many displaced people with no where to sleep, exposed to the elements.
In another attack in Al Nuseirat, several children were killed in an attack as they queued for food and other essentials๐ฟ.
Meanwhile, in Lebanon, the fragile ceasefire is still holding. People are slowly returning to their neighborhoods and clearing the rubble left by airstrikes.
In Syria, multiple govt airstrikes hit opposition controlled territory in the town of Idlib. Govt army is trying to slow expansion of rebels after they took over Aleppo and Idlib.
In France, political shenanigans ๐น as the govt collapsed. This after PM, Michel Barnier lost vote of confidence๐. President Macron will now have to appoint a new PM.
Not far off, in Georgia, pro EU protesters continued to gather outside parliament, engaging police in running battles.
Today a prominent opposition was thoroughly beaten by police and arrested while unconscious๐.
Across the pond in the US, an insurance company executive shot and killed in broad daylight in Manhattan๐ฟ. A shocking incident, the masked shooter just walked off into the crowds๐.
Police believe it was a targeted attack and a manhunt is underway to catch the murderer.
Further down, Cuba trending as the national power grid collapsed leaving many without electricity๐. Recent storms have been doing damage to the grid.
Cuba is also under US sanctions for the last 62 years making it impossible to import some of the needed spare parts for aged machines and equipment๐ฟ.
Finally, South Korean president faces impeachment after he tried to impose martial law.
Thousands of people marched in Seoul demanding he step down. The opposition have presented a bill in parliament to impeach him๐ฏ.
So that's it, see you again tomorrow on an amazing throwback Thursday ๐. Until then stay safe, take care and adios โค๏ธ. Hakuna Matata๐ป๐ฏ
Some pictures from around the around the cold neighbourhood๐ฒ๐ณ๐ก๐ฟโ๏ธ๐๐
Some fantastic health nuggets

Is "bang in the middle of the week" what you might call an example of British humour? : D
Thanks for the photos, and the news! Have a great end to your week.
Oh yes, I probably first heard it on the morning radio a few years ago and it stuck with me. Likewise wishing you a great weekend. I appreciate you for stopping by :}
