Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world of trees🌳🌲🌿. Its been quite a fiery 🔥🌞 Tuesday, the very last one of July😹.
Thank you for stopping by and let's jump into my day including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. Come on💨.
Just like yesterday, I had a few rounds of walking around the neighborhood this morning. It was quite sunny 🌞 as I made my way around.
After close to half an hour, I was back indoors handling the usual house chores.
Later on logged into YouTube and checked out Twitter too. The Olympics were on with some swimming and gymnastics action going on. More on that later.
The evening came fast and I was out for the slow paced sunset 🌄 walk. This time at the park 🌲 before heading back home and calling it a day.
Next let's look at what has been trending around the world.
In the UK, today has been the hottest day so far this year🙀. Temperatures hit 32 celsius but I didn't feel it that much, I just saw it online😹, was indoors all afternoon long. However, thunderstorms are being forecasted later in the week😿.
Also trending, clashes in Southport after town mourned in vigil for victims of stabbing attack🙀. Residents angry at police started throwing stones and objects at police. A police van ended up being torched🙀. A 17 year old has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing.
The middle east is heating up, this after Israel made good its threat hitting southern surburb of Beirut🙀.
A top commander of Hezbollah was the target of the attack but we still don't know if he was killed. Hezbollah is yet to speak.
Hezbollah will most likely retaliate the attack, but let's wait and see.
Israel and Hezbollah have been trading fire between their borders for many months now🙀.
Lebanon's foreign Minister condemned the attack on Beirut and plans to file complaint to the UN.
Across the pond in the US, the white house says it's focusing on diplomacy to avoid matters from escalating into a bigger war.
Not far off, Venezuela protests keep growing as opposition disputes vote results claiming the their candidate won seventy percent of the vote. However, president Maduro was declared winner 😿.
Let's finish with some Olympics action. As expected, Simone Biles and team won gold for USA in gymnastics🎊. Congratulations to the team🎉.
Meanwhile, Nadal and Alcatraz have stormed into doubles quarter finals as they aim for the gold😹. Best of luck to them💯.
