So tasty!

I went to dinner with a friend who had returned to Japan after an absence of about a year. My friend lives in the U.S. and is now in the final stages of the U.S. presidential election, and she said she was very worried about what kind of country it would become. We had been friends since we were students and we talked about the old days. We spent a somewhat unusual day eating a fancy lunch at a new restaurant in a town that was a bit far from the train station 🎵.

一年ぶりぐらいに帰国された友人とお食事に行ってきました。友人はアメリカに住んでいて、今はアメリカ大統領選挙の終盤のさしかかり、今後、どの様な国になるかすごく心配だと言っていました。私が学生時代からの友人で、昔話に花が咲きました。駅ですこしはなれた町で、始めていくレストランでおしゃれなランチを食べるすこし非日常的な一日を過ごせました🎵
