Gardening in my mom's garden

I harvested eggplant with my mom. Perhaps because of the lack of rain this year, the eggplants are not getting bigger and inside of its veggies seem to be getting smaller and smaller. The tomato seedlings are also getting a little bigger.

ナスビの収穫をオカンと一緒にしました。今年は雨が少ないのか、ナスビが大きくならずに中身がすかすかになっているようです。トマトの苗も少し大きくなってきました。

Tomato seedlings seem to need a lot of water, so I am hoping for a good rainfall in June. I think the tomato seedlings will grow bigger if we get a good rainfall.

トマトの苗は、かなりの水が要るようで６月になってしっかりと雨が降って欲しいものです。しっかり雨が降ると、トマトの苗も大きくなってくれると思います。

I have one persimmon tree planted in my mom's garden, and it bore persimmon fruit again this year. Last year, my mom asked our neighbor to prune the tree at the wrong time, and it did not bear much fruit this year. I consider this year to be a year of growth and hope that next year it will bear fruit well 🎵.

オカンの庭には柿の木を1本植えているのですが、その木に今年も柿の実がつきました。昨年、近所の人に頼んだ剪定時期が間違っていて、今年はあまり実が付いていません。今年は成長する年と考え、来年はしっかりと実を付けて欲しいです🎵
