Broke the 10k barrier and actually remembered to post about it. Our truck is in the shop, and I still need to get to the post office. Google said 4.1 miles, so I decided to bike it. Turns out they keep general delivery at the other post office three miles further, but not open on the weekends. That will have to wait until the truck is fixed. Went to bike back, and Google said 7.6 miles. What?
Turns out it was one of those where it shows straight line distance in the search results, but when you get directions it's the road traveled distance. Winding road along the lake, quite a bit further.
The route back was definitely the same distance as the route there, so the round trip was 15 miles instead of the 8 expected. I did okay, but I am still pretty exhausted after!
No recent photos that are relevant, but here are some walks I keep forgetting to post.
