Went for our usual morning hike with my daughter. We were at a part of the road even wider than this and a woman came up from behind and asked us to step aside for her.
There was plenty of room for at least 3 more people to go side by side.
The road was a bit more rocky on that part but it would never occur to me to ask someone to get out of my way if I could pass them - even if it were a bit less comfortable for me.
Some people think they own the world.
