That's a big hailstone, I've never seen them that size around where I live now. Back in Colorado, I remember them getting really large. They are dangerous when they get too big and can do a lot of damage to cars. I remember having my car damaged while it was parked in long-term parking while I was on a business trip. The insurance paid for the damage but it cost a lot.
