I played a couple rounds of disc golf with a couple of friends this morning. I managed to get a disc back to one of my friends that someone had found on the course and given to me. He was happy to get it back in fine shape but was wondering it bit about having it go missing for a few months.
I scored a plus one on the first round and something like a plus two or three on the second. I felt like I was playing pretty consistantly and mostly using my throwing putter on the second throw. It is nice when you are not that far from the basket on the second throw and can easily par or maybe have a chance at a long throw for birdie.
In the evening I played a couple of nine basket rounds at the local course with some friends. I scored one under par on the first round but by the second round I was getting tired and went three over par.
Lucky for me no discs were lost on hole eight today. I think I have found the perfect driver to use on it - the Blizzard Champion Boss. I'm not particularly found of the disc honestly, so it might be a good choice until I can get over my fondness for throwing discs in the river on hold eight, lol.
The nice thing about this disc is it always sails high on me and dumps hard left on a backhand throw. It can't throw it very far at all, which is actually a good thing on hole eight. It is stupidly overstable so unless the wind is really howling I should be okay. (Hopefully not just wishful thinking.)
If it does get into the river the disc will float so I just might get it back.
It is so light that it throws much differently than every other disc I own so I have difficulty when I try to use it.

Sunset image is so beautiful. Great shot
Thank you. The smartphone automatically goes into HDR mode and does a pretty nice job.
19k is beast mode. I hate the Blizzard plastic.. but I didn't know they floated.. have you tested that theory yet?
I'm feeling that 19K this morning, I think I'll take it easy today. I've heard the Blizzard plastic floats but have not had it go into the water yet...
