Later, in 2016, the wreckage of an ancient ship was found at a depth of one thousand to six thousand feet in the Black Sea off the coast of Nesseba, Bulgaria.

The ship was not wiped out for a long time even after being submerged in the sea water due to lack of oxygen at very deep depths. Experts believe that the ark could solve the mystery of Noah's ark. Researchers at the Black Sea Maritime Archaeological Project (MAP) at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom examined the wreckage.

They said there was no evidence yet to suggest that the Black Sea region was suddenly flooded. Rather the water level there has risen slowly. According to them, Ryan and Pitman's claim that the Black Sea was created by a sudden flood is not correct. However, the search for the wreckage of the ship will continue. Earlier, a group of Christian explorers claimed that there was a 99.9 percent chance that the ark of the historic Noah (AS) was under the ice of Mount Ararat in Turkey.

Noah's Ark Ministries International, a Hong Kong-based documentary team searching for Noah's Ark, also claimed to have found a piece of wood whose carbon footprint showed it was 4,800 years old. They said the piece of wood was found 13,000 feet above sea level. According to the Biblical Book of Genesis, Noah's ark came to a halt on the Mount Ararat in eastern Turkey after the Flood. However, despite numerous campaigns, no evidence was found to support this theory.

Last year, Johann Huiber, a Dutch artist, created a fictional replica of Noah's ark. The installment made by Hazrat Noah (AS) had 3 floors. It was 1200 yards long and 600 yards wide.
