Yesterday I logged 5,354 steps on @actifit, roughly half of my daily 10K step goal. Majority of my steps were logged in the yard doing some work to get ready for the new goat. Although the goat will be my new resident landscaper, I needed to remove a load of weeds to increase the voltage on my electric fence. There has been a young coywolf in my yard recently and I need to do my best to keep him out of the enclosure. Unfortunately I don’t trust the dogs outside alone until I get a permanent fence up, so the flock is without a livestock guardian at the moment. Above is a photo of a mixed berry shortcake I got as a little dessert after breakfast.
