A tour to Sohar Beach and Sohar Eye Park
I took Thursday off from work. Wednesday was the Eid holiday and Friday would be my regular off day. Hence, I took Thursday off resulting in a 3-day long holiday!
We were planning for a long tour for the last couple of weeks. We got the chance Finally. We wanted to revisit Sohar Beach and the adjacent Sohar Eye Park. We started our Journey at 1:30 pm. A friend of mine joined us. The distance was 175 km according to Google Maps. A major portion of the roads were through the mountains and it was super zigzag! It took around 2 hours and 20 minutes to reach our destination.
Being the Eid holiday, the beach and Park were full of visitors. At first, we spent time in the park. Then we went to the beach
When we started our return journey, it was already evening. It was quite challenging driving through the two-way streets without the dividers and the streetlights. So it took more time to reach home. Alhamdulillah, we reached at around 10 pm.
