Hello again. Assalamu Alaikum? How are? I hope that you are doing great. Welcome to my post. It's actifit report number 1118. It's the Alive and Thriving report on Friday, my weekend, March 08, 2024. It's also today's #marketfriday report.

Alhamdulillah! My Friday started with performing the Fajr prayer in the mosque. One of the most favorite deeds to our Creator is to perform the Friday Fajr prayer in the mosque! Afterward, I went for a morning walk. I walked for around 40 minutes. It was a comfortable weather in the morning.

Early morning photograph. Can you see the moon 🌙? It is almost to its end. The new lunar month, the month of Ramadan will start in a few days

It is at the same spot, 40 minutes later. The sun was already up by that time

On returning home, I recited Surah Al-Kahf (didn't finish in the same sitting). It's also considered one of the best deeds on Friday. Later, I did some house chores such as sweeping the floor, cleaning the toilet, putting clothes in the washing machine, polishing my shoes, etc.

After breakfast, our #marketfriday started. Our primary goal was to buy a double-decker toy bus for our son, and frozen fish. At first, we went to a 2-Riyal shop

The maximum price of any item is 2 OMR

Unfortunately, we didn't find any double-decker buses there. We ended up buying this set of eight vehicles!! ⬇️

From there, we went to a frozen fish store to buy some fish. We bought two kinds of fish.

Then, we went to Ramez International Shopping Centre. We didn't find any double-decker buses there too. We bought some groceries from the center.

When we were in the shopping center, we got an emergency alert ⚠️ on our mobile screen. There was a forecast for heavy rainfall and strong Wadi in our place of living. For the first time, we got such an emergency alert on our screen (not SMS)! Every mobile phone in the center got the same alert at the same time. So, it created some panic vibes.

The forecast came true, by the way. After 11:30, the sky started filling with dark clouds and after 1:30 pm, the rain started.

It wasn't a heavy rain. And, the Wadi (Flood) was yet to come.

In the afternoon, I had a short nap. After Asr prayer, I talked with my parents over Facebook Messenger. I worked on the laptop for a while afterward.

After the Maghrib prayer, we visited another shopping center. It was a 3-Riyal shopping center. A friend's family wanted to go to the center. That's why we visited it. We had no intention of purchasing anything but ended up spending over 2 OMR.

Market Friday cost us 13.35 Riyals (~34.68$)

And, finally, heavy rain came down. As soon as we entered our car, it started. Instead of waiting, we drove through the rain. Because there was a high chance that some parts of the street would have flooded after the rain. Alhamdulillah, we reached home safely.

Okay. That's all for today. I am alive, healthy, and Thriving, Alhamdulillah. How about you?
