Hi, there! Assalamu Alaikum. How are you? I hope that you are doing well. Welcome to my post. Here is my Alive & Thriving report on Tuesday. It is also the actifit report number 923.
On the 6th of June, I had a pretty much relaxed duty. I had only 21 patients in my chamber. Of them, there was a chemical burn patient. He was a middle-aged Omani. While he was cleaning the bathroom, the corrosive cleaning agent splashed mostly on his right forearm and hand. It happened yesterday. Today he couldn’t bear the pain. Hence decided to visit a doctor.
In several places, the skin already turned back. In between finger webs, there was a collection of pus. Overall, the wounds looked bad. Moreover, he was a diabetic!
We cleaned the wound, put antibiotic ointment on the pus point (after cleaning obviously) and started an antibiotic. Fortunately, his blood sugar was under control. It will need a bit long time for complete recovery, In Sha Allah.
Today, in the morning, I walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes. However, I was just able to reach the target of 10k steps, Alhamdulillah.
Let us see some photographs.
