Walking for Fitness

On May 1, 2022 I kicked off a 31 day challenge to blockchain my fitness. Which meant downloading the Actift app and taking a daily walk around my neighborhood.

The month is almost complete (only 3 days left) and so far I have walked around my neighborhood every single day! I'm rather proud of my commitment to this challenge. There have been days that were more challenging than others, but over the past week, heading out to walk has been easy and quite enjoyable.

There were days when I felt less than ideal which are the days with 2K-ish steps. But even on those days I at least walking around the block. I still consider those days a win since normally I wouldn't have gone for a walk at all if it wasn't for this month-long challenge.

What will I do on June 1st? Well, I hope that daily walking has become enough of a habit to continue. Of course, only time will tell.
