Guys. I think I've been pretty open about when I just can't make it to 5k steps on the app. It's never that I didn't move enough, it's always that I was moving without my phone. Sometimes I just literally forget. THIS TIME, that wasnot the case.
The morning started out pretty normal but when I checked the app it was on 0. Zero? But I'd taken a few steps already while holding my phone...So I took a few more steps and that zero remained. I tried jumping, shaking my phone like a lumpy protein shake. Nothing.
So naturally I began to worry. Had my phone taken one too many falls? Did the last update require a newer version of Android? Was I going to have to quit Actifit for a while as this all got sorted out?
At some point I noticed a new icon on the app, two arrows on top of each other. I touched it and the counter switched to ask me to sync my Fitbit. I have no Fitbit so I touched the icon again and...19 steps had registered. I walked, hit the icon, hit it again and found my count had gone up.
This was...less than ideal. By the end of the day I was still pretty short of my 5k steps and a little glum about it. Then midnight struck. I looked at my meager count resetting to zero and sighed. As I picked up my phone to go into the kitchen I noticed the count increasing in time with my movements. Like it's supposed to. As if the entire previous day hadn't happened at all.
🤯
So. That's why yesterday's count was so low. I'm just grateful the app is back to normal now. Speaking of gratitude...feel free to check out Graturday if you have something you feel grateful about and maybe want to win some Ecency points too.
Peace
