I didn't like blueberries when I was younger or at least this is what I told everyone that I can't eat them, I don't like the taste. Now, especially lately, I eat them almost every day, but something else happened a couple of days ago. I realized that I was wrong; it was never the blueberries that I didn't like. I made a confusion between blueberries and black currants; they are the culprit. My parents had a few shrubs in the garden, and I remember hating their taste. Then later on, I was refusing to eat blueberries because I thought they are black currants.
Even now, when writing this, their strong, bitterish, tart taste comes to mind. I don't think I've tried black currants in years; maybe I'll be okay with the taste now, but it's not like I'm that eager to try them again, only if they happen to appear in front of me.
