Hallo Freunde,

Heute Morgen habe ich einen schon oft begangenen Fehler gemacht, Ich habe statt social Media politische Nachrichten gelesen... und dabei den ganzen Tag vertrödelt.
Ich war schon fast soweit irgendetwas Gesellschaftlich-Politisches zu schreiben. Gott sein Dank bin ich vorher noch einmal spazieren gewesen und die unsinnige Idee war weg.

This morning I made a mistake I've made many times before, I was reading political news instead of social media.... and thereby frittered away the whole day.
I was almost ready to write something social and political. Thank God I went for a walk before and the nonsensical idea was gone.

Eines ist geblieben.
Ich habe bis zum Aufkommen von Burning-Series extrem viel gelesen, schon seit meiner Kindheit. Darunter war ein Buch von Gert Prokop " Wer stiehlt schon Unterschenkel?"
Gert Prokop ist oder war ein ostdeutscher Gerichtsmediziner und Pathologe, der nebenbei dieses Buch schrieb. Darin ging es in einer dystopischen Zukunft um die Fälle eines Privatdetektiv aus den USA. Witzig und spannend geschrieben in den 80oiger Jahren in der DDR, mit interessanten Details wie biologischen Schaltungen , die im menschlichen Körper eingebaut sind, richtig gute Science Fiction.
Warum mir dieses Buch einfiel bei der aktuellen Weltlage? Timothy Truckle, dieser Privatdetektiv lebt in einer USA, welche isoliert vom freien Rest der Welt ist, welche eine Art Käseglocke aus irgendwelchen Kraftfeldern? über die Vereinigten Staaten gestülpt hat.

One thing remained.
I read extremely much until the upcoming of Burning-Series, already since my childhood. Among them was a book by Gert Prokop " Who steals lower legs?"
Gert Prokop is or was an East German forensic pathologist who wrote this book on the side. It was about the cases of a private detective from the USA in a dystopian future. Funny and exciting written in the 80oiger years in the GDR, with interesting details such as biological circuits that are built into the human body, really good science fiction.
Why I thought of this book in the current world situation? Timothy Truckle, this private detective lives in a USA, which is isolated from the free rest of the world, which has put a kind of cheesecloth of some kind of energy fields over the United States.

Ich habe auch nachgesehen, dieses Buch gibt es bei Amazon. Und dort habe ich dabei auch ein zweites Buch gesehen, welches ich ebenfalls uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann, weil es einen sehr tiefen Einblick in die die "russische Seele" gibt und dazu noch mindestens so interessant ist wie die Startrek-Saga. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass die Stargate-Autoren dort einiges abgeschrieben haben. (Startrek kenne ich nicht so gut, als das ich es beurteilen kann)
Es heißt "Menschen wie Götter", wurde von Sergej Snegow geschrieben und besteht eigentlich aus drei Bänden in einem. Ich habe diese mal als 14 Jähriger gelesen und kann mich noch erinnern, wie ich Jahre später als Student in Zwickau morgens um 7 an der Buchhandlung anstand, um ein Exemplar der Neuauflage zu kaufen.
Und weil ich schon mal bei Buchempfehlungen bin:
Wenn Ihr Kinder habt oder kennt, die Ihr mit Lesestoff versorgen wollt und wenn Euch selbst " Der Zauber von Oz" dafür geeignet erscheint,; es gibt etwas Besseres, eine Adaption vom Ozschen Zauberer incl Weiterentwicklung. Dies sind 6 Bücher von Alexander Wolkov "Der Zauberer der Smaragdenstadt".

I have also looked, this book is available at Amazon. And there I saw a second book, which I can also recommend without limitations, because it gives a very deep insight into the "Russian soul" and is at least as interesting as the Startrek saga. I'm pretty sure that the Stargate authors have copied some things from there. (I don't know Startrek so well that I can judge it).
It is called "Men like Gods", was written by Sergej Snegow and actually consists of three books in one. I read this once as a 14 year old and can still remember how I stood in line years later as a student in Zwickau at 7 in the morning at the bookstore to buy a copy of the new edition.
And because I'm already at book recommendations:
If you have or know children that you want to provide with reading material and if you yourself " The Wizard of Oz" seems suitable for this; there is something better, an adaptation of Oz's wizard incl further development. These are 6 books of Alexander Wolkov "The Wizard of the Emerald City".
