++ 19900 Schritte ++ ein Traumtag

Hallo Freunde,
nach dem Regen kommt die Sonne. Die Katastrophe von gestern ist Vergangenheit. Ich habe mich damit abgefunden, dass ich die nächsten Monate ohne warmes Wasser, ohne Toilettenspülung, ohne halbwegs anständige Küchenausstattung und nur mit einer mobilen Klimaanlage auskommen muss. Für @Reccandra ist das sowieso kein Problem, da sie noch nie in einem solchen "Luxus" gelebt hat.
Kein warmes Wasser zu haben ist für mich nicht so schlimm, denn das "kalte Wasser hat zwischen 25 und 30 Grad.
An das eklige Spülbecken aus Fliesen ohne Geruchsverschluss muss ich mich erst gewöhnen. Und eine Waschmaschine kann man auch mit langen Strom- und Wasserzuleitungen und langen Abflussrohren betreiben. Sieht nur nicht schön aus.
Oder man kauft einfach so eine Waschmaschine, die keine feste Installation braucht, die Light-Version eben.
Wie auch immer, das war gestern der schlechte Laune Aufmacher, aber gestern ist gestern.
Heute kam endlich das Paket mit @Recandra's Flossen, Maske und Schnorchel und sie hat sie natürlich gleich ausprobiert.
Und was soll ich sagen? Sie ist wirklich ein Naturtalent. Keine Probleme mit angelaufener Maske oder Wasser in der Maske, keine Probleme Luft zu bekommen mit dem Schnorchel und überhaupt keine Probleme die Flossen richtig einzusetzen.
Wir schnorchelten noch eine halbe Stunde über dem Riff und es schien ihr richtig Spaß zu machen. Fische beobachten, Weichkorallen in der Brandung. Nur ihr wurde schnell kalt, was man an ihren blauen Lippen erkennen konnte. Ohne Neopren geht es auf Dauer nicht.
Aber meine Befürchtungen, dass es ihr nicht gefallen würde, haben sich in Luft aufgelöst.

after the rain comes the sun. Yesterday's catastrophe is a thing of the past. I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll have to get by for the next few months without hot water, without flushing toilets, without halfway decent kitchen equipment and only with a mobile air conditioner. This is not a problem for @Reccandra anyway, as she has never lived in such "luxury".
Not having hot water is not so bad for me, because the "cold water is between 25 and 30 degrees.
I have to get used to the disgusting sink made of tiles without a trap. And you can run a washing machine with long power and water supply lines and long drain pipes. It just doesn't look nice.
Or you just buy a washing machine that doesn't need a fixed installation, the light version.
Anyway, this was the bad mood lead yesterday, but yesterdays is yesterdays.
Today finally came the package with @Recandra's fins, mask and snorkel and of course she tried them out right away.
And what can I say? She really is a natural. No problems with water in the mask, no problems to get air with the snorkel and no problems at all to use the fins correctly.
We snorkeled above the reef for another half hour and she seemed to really enjoy it. Watching fish, soft corals in the surf. Only she got cold quickly, which you could tell by her blue lips. Without neoprene it doesn't work in the long run.
But my fears that she wouldn't like it vanished into thin air.
