Today's MyWhoosh training day focused again on riding under relatively heavy loads with a low cadence. This time I kept the cadence a little easier, even managing to complete all four intervals with a cadence of less than 50. A nice addition to today's training is the 39 second sprints in Zone 5 at the end of each interval.
At the end of the ride I was rested enough to ride another 40 minute recovery in zone 2 with a natural cadence. This ride is in the category of a walk in the park, without any major training implications, but it is a good way to burn calories.
Tomorrow is a recovery ride or a full recovery depending on how I feel, and then I enter the second week of this four week long training plan.
