The wind started to blow big - like 80 km/h big. Not doing a lot today - bbq with friends from mid afternoon. Walked to shops to get a few things for drinks and to get steps in
Did harvest the qumqats to go into the gin. We got 8 fruit - tree came from friends we are visiting when we finished our deck renovation a few years back. First harvest
Did go for a short walk before we went out to get the steps done - still windy. Always a chance for camellias - deep pink

Been listening to the chain saws all week and then the knock down banging. Guessing this is where that came from. Buy a house for over $1.5 million and knock it down

Steps done. Headed down to our friend's place. Was super windy - fire pit fire was super smoky. Food was good - I left the host to cook the eye fillet I supplied. Was good. Chat was good.
Good to get home early and have a shower to kill the smell of smoke
